RADIO: Programming Assistant
Decadance is looking for a keen individual to get stuck in with our radio operations. This creative driven individual will work within our radio team helping to run Decadance Radio which is a fresh new station for Brighton & Hove.
The role will involve audio editing, social media, blog writing as well as admin and help supporting the Music, Content and Programme Director with weekly tasks and joining team meetings.
The station is run by a great team who are all Brighton born and bred and the successful person will be working alongside the Music, Content & Programme Director who in his time in radio worked at KISS FM UK and BBC Radio 1Xtra, so there are great opportunities to learn and develop whilst you’re with us.
This role is a voluntary position to begin with for the first 6 months and is flexible around other work and any classes if you are a student. There will be a review at the 3-month and 6-month periods to go over the placement and to look at how the role will further develop according to the needs of the station.
